This is the chronicle of our new house. A house is shelter; it's a roof over your head; it's brick and mortar, wood and nails. But with God's grace, love and support from family and friends, and time we hope to turn this house into a home!

Moving Day!
Friday was moving day at the Caudill's. We had a lot of stuff! Thankful to have a roof over our head though. We are blessed.

Temporary Living...
OK, so the wheels are in motion. We're building a new house that will be done by Christmas, we're selling our house and have to be out by Aug. 31. Where do we live in the meantime? What do we do with all of our stuff? After browsing the rental home market, we just decided to go with an apartment. We went looking near Hamburg and found The Summit Apartments that seemed pretty promising. After talking with them we found out they were actually owned by Ball Homes, we could get a short term lease with flexible terms, and we would probably be able to get a garage to store our things. That's perfect if it all works out! So we're headed to a 2 bedroom apartment for the next 4 months. Move in date in about August 19.
